INTEC Midnight Walk The St John’s Hospice offers a number of community services such as specialized pain and symptom control, emotional support and high standards of palliative care to help the patient with peace, comfort and dignity. It costs about £64,000 to keep the Hospice running for a week and 2/3 of the funding usually comes from voluntary contributions and events such as Moonlight Walk.

This year, Velosi-Intec were once again given the opportunity to be part of a worthy cause and was able to be the t-shirt sponsors for St. John's Hospice "Moonlight Walk".  The "Moonlight Walk" is an annual fundraising event where thousands of ladies commence one of two walks. The two walks were differentiated with different coloured t-shirts. Women wearing the pink t-shirts signified the 14 kilometres walk and green signified the 25 kilometres walk.

In addition to sponsoring the "Moonlight Walk" t-shirts on Saturday 8th June 2013, four amazing ladies from Velosi-Intec; Rachael Marlowe, Naima Craigie, Joanne Lord and Stephanie Hall completed the longer of the two routes walking 25 kilometres.
