Barbara Marks, downstream quarantine director for Chevron handed over the award on a visit to the K2 Singapore office on 24th July on behalf of herself and Johann Van Der Merwe, the Gorgon quarantine manager.

“I appreciate Ms Marks taking the time to present the award personally. I would also like to thank the K2 team onsite who have done an excellent job safely,” said Martin Spencer, K2 FPSO Services Business manager.

K2 inspection teams are working to ensure quarantine compliance for PAU’s and PAR’s destined for the Gorgon Project. We have teams in Indonesia and Korea working on the different components. The K2 inspection project began in April last year and is due to run until December 2013.
